Late last month, active rock band Breaking Benjamin received a handful of RIAA certifications.<\/p>\n

The most notable certification went to “The Diary of Jane.” The band’s most recognizable single was officially certified 2x platinum under the RIAA’s digital singles program.<\/p>\n

The 2x platinum honor confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. One unit equals one paid download or 100 streams.<\/p>\n

As it had not been previously certified, “Jane” retroactively received gold and platinum honors.<\/p>\n

Singles “I Will Not Bow” and “Breath” received platinum honors in late November (1 million units), while “Give Me A Sign” and “Blow Me Away” went gold (500,000).<\/p>\n
