— WWE’s decision to promote Serena Deeb to SmackDown! largely came down to her commitment as a wrestler for the company.<\/p>\n

Of the women in developmental, she was reportedly the only talent willing to have her head shaved. This was jointly seen as a positive regarding Deeb’s commitment to the product and a negative regarding the other women’s interest in doing what it takes to make it within WWE.<\/p>\n

— Since the “ECW wrestlers will be free agents” claim seems to suggest that WWE NXT will feature an entirely new crop of talent, there is undoubtedly some worry that a number of ECW wrestlers will be cut by the company.<\/p>\n

The big names–Christian, Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal, Ezekiel Jackson, Zack Ryder, Rosa Mendes and possibly Vance Archer and Abraham Washington–should all be safe, but some of the more direction-less talent might find itself in jeopardy.<\/p>\n
