Two weeks ago, the “Big Bang Theory”-boosted premiere episode drew a 3.1 with 12.955 million viewers.<\/p>\n
While the actual numbers remain solid, the rate of decline is concerning. “Supergirl” will need to soon stabilize.<\/p>\n
CBS’ Monday night lineup also included “Scorpion” (1.8, 9.344 million this week vs. 1.9, 9.507 million last week) and “NCIS: Los Angeles” (1.3, 7.910 million this week vs. 1.3, 8.409 million last week).

Fast National Ratings Update:<\/b> While it suffered a modest decline in total viewership, Monday’s “Supergirl” suffered a substantial hit in the key adults 18-49 demographic.<\/p>\n
After drawing a 2.2 for last week’s time period premiere (and second overall episode), CBS’ new drama slipped to a 1.7 rating this Monday.<\/p>\n
This week’s viewership average of 8.179 million trails last week’s 8.865 mark by a considerably lesser 8%.<\/p>\n
CBS’ Monday night lineup also included “Scorpion” (1.8, 9.315 million this week vs. 1.9, 9.507 million last week) and “NCIS: Los Angeles” (1.2, 7.837 million this week vs. 1.3, 8.409 million last week).<\/p>\n
Editor’s Note: San Diego’s CBS affiliate carried the Chargers-Bears game, but “Supergirl” and “Scorpion” were only delayed by about an hour. As a result, the final ratings adjustment may not be as significant as the one typically associated with sports pre-emptions.<\/em> While CBS’ “Supergirl” could not avoid a week three decline, it still posted a respectable household number.<\/p>\n Per Nielsen metered market data, Monday’s episode drew a 5.2 overnight household rating.
