Prior to “Stitches,” Shawn Mendes had not cracked the Top 40 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.<\/p>\n

Thanks to “Stitches,” Mendes will reach #1. The breakthrough single is on pace to dethrone Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” on this week’s official pop airplay chart.<\/p>\n

“Stitches” received 10,232 plays during the first four days of the November 1-7 tracking week. Up 3.2%, the count positions Mendes’ tune at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.<\/p>\n

The aforementioned “Wildest Dreams,” which received 10,177 plays within the four-day window, is #2. This week’s count trails last week’s by 4.6%.<\/p>\n
