Final Ratings Update:<\/b> Thursday’s “How To Get Away With Murder” was indeed the ABC drama’s lowest-rated and least-watched episode yet.<\/p>\n
Per final Nielsen data, the episode drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating with 6.272 million total viewers. The numbers, which are both series lows, trail the 2.1 rating and 6.951 million viewership mark posted by last week’s episode.<\/p>\n
“HTGAWM” was the night’s #2 non-sports program in adults 18-49 (behind “Scandal”) and #5 non-sports program in total viewership (behind “Scandal,” “The Blacklist,” “Bones,” and “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”).

Per fast national data, Thursday’s episode drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating with 6.262 million total viewers. The series low numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast (2.1, 6.951 million) by 14% and 10%, respectively.<\/p>\n
This week’s “How To Get Away With Murder” received slightly weakened support from its “Scandal” lead-in (2.3 adults 18-49 rating, -8% | 7.770 million viewers, -6%), but its declines were greater than those endured by its lead-in (in terms of both raw numbers and percentages).<\/p>\n
And insofar as the second-year “HTGAWM” is fresher than the fifth-year “Scandal,” it should not be susceptible to the burn-out that has likely resulted in the year-over-year “Scandal” decline.<\/p>\n
Without an original “Grey’s Anatomy” in the mix, Thursday’s “HTGAWM” ranked as the night’s #2 non-sports program in adults 18-49 (behind “Scandal”), but it slipped to #5 in viewership (beneath “Scandal,” NBC’s “The Blacklist,” FOX’s “Bones,” and ABC’s 8PM “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”).<\/p>\n
