Thursday’s episode posted a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating with 7.802 million viewers. While down from the 2.5 and 8.281 million drawn by the previous episode, the numbers were the night’s best for non-sports shows.<\/p>\n
ABC’s own “How To Get Away With Murder” (1.8, 6.272 million) was second in the demo. NBC’s “The Blacklist” (1.5, 7.029 million) was #2 in viewership.<\/p>\n
ABC’s lineup also included “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (1.7, 6.543 million).

Per fast national data, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating with 7.770 million viewers. The numbers were down from the 2.5 and 8.281 million posted by last week’s episode but above those posted by Thursday’s other non-sports shows.<\/p>\n
Fellow “TGIT” drama “How To Get Away With Murder” (1.8 with 6.262 million this week vs. 2.1 with 6.951 million lat week) was the night’s #2 non-sports show in adults 18-49. “The Blacklist” was #2 in viewership (1.5 with 6.909 million vs. 1.4 with 6.679 million last week).<\/p>\n
ABC’s Thursday night also included “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (1.7, 6.550 million).

Without “Grey’s Anatomy” in the mix, ABC’s “Scandal” reclaimed its status as Thursday’s #1 non-sports program in terms of household viewership.<\/p>\n
It should, meanwhile, retain its crown in adults 18-49.<\/p>\n
Per Nielsen metered market data, Thursday’s “Scandal” posted a 6.1 overnight household rating. While that narrowly trails the 6.4 posted by last week’s episode, it comfortably ranks as the best among Thursday’s non-sports shows.<\/p>\n
The closest competition in that regard came from ABC’s own “How To Get Away With Murder,” which drew a 5.0 overnight household rating. “The Blacklist” landed in similar territory with a 4.75.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the night, ABC’s “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” drew a 4.05 in the 8PM hour usually occupied by “Grey’s Anatomy.”<\/p>\n
— While not guaranteed, the strong overnight household advantage suggests “Scandal” will also be the clear non-sports winner in adults 18-49 and total viewership.
