With three days of time-shifting included, NBC’s “Blindspot” premiere now ranks as Monday’s most-watched drama and most-watched new series.<\/p>\n
Its adults 18-49 and total viewership marks, meanwhile, exceed those of its “The Voice” lead-in.<\/p>\n
According to the Live+3 ratings report, “Blindspot” posted a 4.45 adults 18-49 rating (+1.34) and reached 15.192 million viewers (+4.587). The numbers both reflect gains of 43% from the live+same-day values.<\/p>\n
The raw adults 18-49 gain (+1.34) is the largest for a network premiere since the “Empire” opener added 1.48 to its adults 18-49 rating.<\/p>\n
Based on live+same-day ratings, “Blindspot” was already the night’s top drama and top new series in adults 18-49. The hefty live+3 lift also positions it as the most-watched show in both categories.<\/p>\n
“Scorpion,” which was the night’s most-watched L+SD drama (2.20 adults 18-49 rating, 11.1 million viewers), slips to #2 on a live+3 basis (3.02 rating, 14.2 million viewers). “Life in Pieces,” which was the night’s most-watched new series (2.63 adults 18-49 rating, 11.3 million viewers), also slips to #2 on a live+3 basis (3.22 rating, 13.1 million viewers).<\/p>\n
On a live+3 basis, “Blindspot” also bests its “The Voice” lead-in in both adults 18-49 and total viewership (4.28 rating with 14.41 million viewers in L+3). It becomes NBC’s first post-“Voice” drama to ever do so; the “Revolution” premiere topped its “The Voice” lead-in in adults 18-49 but not in total viewership.<\/p>\n
