Another impressive week-over-week airplay gain enables The Weeknd’s “The Hills” to retain its #1 spot on the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.<\/p>\n

“The Hills” received ~6,742 plays during the September 6-12 tracking week. That bests last week’s count by 562 and allows for a considerable lead over the week’s #2 song.<\/p>\n

Fetty Wap’s “My Way (featuring Monty),” that song, remains the runner-up on the strength of ~5,705 weekly spins (-13).<\/p>\n

The remainder of the Top 5 also stays put this week. The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” remains #3, while Major Lazer’s “Lean On” and Rich Homie Quan’s “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” again grab the respective #4 and #5 positions.<\/p>\n

— The chart’s Top 10 welcomes a new addition in the form of Jeremih’s “Planes (featuring J. Cole).” Spun ~3,031 times during the tracking week (+347), it rises two places to #10.<\/p>\n

In doing so, it again prevents Meek Mill’s “All Eyes On You (featuring Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj)” from reaching the Top 10.
