Powered by the #1 country radio hit “Girl in a Country Song” and impending Top 10 “Fly,” Maddie & Tae’s debut LP “Start Here” is expected to sell 20-23,000 in its first week of release.<\/p>\n

While not a blockbuster figure, the projected tally tops those achieved by recent debut efforts from A Thousand Horses, Kelsea Ballerini, Canaan Smith, and Michael Ray.<\/p>\n

Granted, those albums were released in conjunction with a single country radio single hitting its peak. “Start Here,” which comes many months after “Girl in a Country Song” reached its peak, has two hit radio singles on its track list.<\/p>\n
