OMI’s summer smash “Cheerleader” once again rules the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n
In doing so, the tune earns a sixth, non-consecutive week atop the chart. It reigned for four weeks before being dethroned by The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
It returned to #1 last week and maintains its lead on this week’s edition.<\/p>\n
Based on the song’s recent dominance, Billboard also forecasts that “Cheerleader” will top its annual “Song of the Summer” chart.<\/p>\n
In conjunction with its sixth Hot 100 victory, “Cheerleader” holds at #2 on Radio Songs (147 million impressions), Streaming Songs (15.1 million) and Digital Songs (105,000 sales).<\/p>\n
The Weeknd’s former #1 “Can’t Feel My Face” holds at #2 on this week’s chart. It maintains its #1 positions on Radio (157 million) and Digital (109,000) but slips to #5 on Streaming (13.6 million).<\/p>\n
