This week’s add count was not as significant, but it was still sizable. More importantly, it was once again the greatest for a pop song.<\/p>\n
“Love Myself” scored a format-leading 46 monitored adds this week.<\/p>\n
The latest wave of support will allow “Love Myself” to continue its airplay surge. The song, which is being supported by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, claimed the #28 spot on this past week’s Mediabase pop chart. It is already #25 on the current week’s building chart.<\/p>\n
The Weeknd’s “The Hills,” which earned a Top 40 position on this week’s pop airplay chart, follows as the week’s second-most-added song. It won support from 31 monitored stations.<\/p>\n
Picked up by 30 stations, R. City’s soaring “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” follows as pop’s third-most-added song. Little Mix’s “Black Magic” claims fourth-most-added on the strength of its 28 pickups, while One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” add count of 21 ranks as pop radio’s fifth-greatest.<\/p>\n
Other notable pop options: Disclosure’s “Omen (featuring Sam Smith)” (17 adds, 6th-most-added), Fifth Harmony’s “In Love With a Monster” (16, 7th, tie), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Growing Up” (featuring Ed Sheeran) (16, 7th, tie), A Great Big World’s “Hold Each Other (featuring Futuristic)” (15, 9th, tie), Alessia Cara’s “Here” (15, 9th, tie), and Robin Thicke’s “Back Together (featuring Nicki Minaj)” (15, 9th, tie).<\/p>\n
