As previously confirmed, this coming week’s string of TODAY Show episodes will include performances from Rachel Platten (8\/18), Little Mix (8\/19), and Carly Rae Jepsen (8\/21).<\/p>\n
The following week, NBC will play host to showcases from Rob Thomas (8\/24), Carole King, Abby Mueller and Chilina Kennedy (8\/25), and Jordin Sparks (8\/27).<\/p>\n
— Thomas, who is scheduled perform on the plaza during the 7-9AM portion and then make another appearance during the 9-10AM hour, will perform in support of his “The Great Unknown.”<\/p>\n
The album, which is his third as a solo act, arrives on August 21.<\/p>\n
— Performing as part of the TODAY Summer Concert Series, King, Mueller and Kennedy will bring awareness to “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.” They are scheduled for a plaza performance in the 7-9AM portion and a studio performance during the 9-10AM hour.<\/p>\n
— Like Thomas, Sparks will be supporting a new album. Her “Right Here, Right Now” also launches on August 21.<\/p>\n
The sixth “American Idol” will perform during the 9-10AM hour.<\/p>\n
