“Kiss You in the Morning,” the lead single from that album, is now the #1 song on Mediabase’s country radio singles chart.<\/p>\n
Up one place from last week’s position, the former iHeartRadio “On the Verge” pick seizes the throne from Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up.”<\/p>\n
Not simply the leader in terms of Mediabase chart points, “Kiss You” also ranks as the week’s most-played and most-heard country radio song. It received a whopping ~8,524 plays (#1, +527) and ~56.481 million audience impressions (#1, +2.464 million) during the August 2-8 tracking week.<\/p>\n
Its weekly spin count is the greatest in the history of the Mediabase panel.<\/p>\n
Zac Brown Band’s “Loving You Easy” claims the #2 position this week (+3). While the song enjoyed sizable weekly gains of its own, its weekly airplay (~7,772) and audience (~52.007 million) markedly trail those achieved by the Michael Ray tune.<\/p>\n
Frankie Ballard’s “Young & Crazy” (#3, +1), Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up” (#4, -3) and Sam Hunt’s “House Party” (#5, +3) complete the Top 5.
