For a third straight week, Nielsen Music revised its album sales data.<\/p>\n
This week, the revision resulted in an upward shift for Future’s “DS2.” The album, which Nielsen originally said moved 121,000 first-week units, actually sold 126,000 copies during the July 17-23 tracking week.<\/p>\n
The total easily scores “DS2” the top spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n
With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, the album posts a first-week consumption total of 151,000 units. That earns the album a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
