While not yet the #1 song at country radio, Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up” is the genre’s hottest overall song.<\/p>\n

The song, which is the lead single from Bryan’s forthcoming “Kill the Lights,” officially claims #1 on Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot Country Songs chart. It was #2 last week.<\/p>\n

In getting to the top, it brings an end to the thirteen-week reign of Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush.”<\/p>\n

“Kick the Dust Up” is the ninth solo Luke Bryan song (and 10th including his “This is How We Roll” collaboration with Florida Georgia Line) to reach #1 on Hot Country Songs, which formerly focused exclusively on airplay and now measures combined radio, sales and streaming activity.<\/p>\n
