Spun 353 times during the July 12-18 tracking week (+6), “Sparks” rises to #38 on Mediabase’s official chart.<\/p>\n
While a recalculation confirms that “Sparks” was actually last week’s #40 song, the original version of the chart listed a #41 position. This week’s chart is thus the first one on which “Sparks” actually appears inside the Hot AC format’s Top 40.<\/p>\n
It is the only new addition to the weekly Top 40. Two songs do, however, reach the Top 50.<\/p>\n
Despite losing airplay, Matt Nathanson’s “Gold in the Summertime” rises two places to a new peak of #49. It received 162 tracking week spins (-2).<\/p>\n
Selena Gomez’ Top 15 pop hit “Good For You” also enters Hot AC’s Top 50.
