Released in a more competitive market, the original “Teen Beach Movie” soundtrack moved 25,000 copies but ranked as the week’s eighth-best-selling album.<\/p>\n
With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, “Teen Beach 2” generated a first week consumption total of 24,000 units. That earns it the #10 position on the revamped, consumption-oriented Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
In 2013, the Billboard 200 only accounted for pure sales.
