“Grand Romantic,” that album, debuts as the week’s fifth-best-selling album. It was the week’s fourth-best-selling new release.<\/p>\n
According to Nielsen Music, Ruess’ first solo album moved 28,283 traditional copies in the United States during the June 15-21 tracking week. That earns it the #5 position on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n
With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, the first week “Grand Romantic” consumption total clocks in at approximately 31,000 units. That earns the album the #7 spot on the revamped Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
Bleachers’ “Strange Desire,” which is the aforementioned Jack Antonoff album, moved 21,179 copies in its first week of release last July.
