Set to convincingly win the weekly album sales race, Florence + The Machine’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful” is expected to move upwards of 120,000 copies in its first week.<\/p>\n
So says Hits Daily Double, which uses first day sales insight to forecast an opening week in the 120-125,000 range. With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, the album’s first week consumption total will land in the 125-130,000 territory.<\/p>\n
The pure sales figure will earn the album the #1 spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The latter will be good for #1 on the revamped Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
The week’s other new releases are on track for modest bows.<\/p>\n
Lil Durk’s “Remember My Name” and Willie Nelson & Merle Haggard’s “Django & Jimmie” are both expected to move 25-28,000. With TEA and SEA included, each album’s total will lift to roughly 28-32,000.<\/p>\n
Jason Derulo’s new “Everything is 4” will move 24-27,000 pure copies, but it should land higher than the aforementioned two albums on the consumption-based Billboard 200. Hits Daily Double projects a sales + TEA + SEA total in the 35-40,000 range.<\/p>\n
Dom Kennedy’s “Dom Kennedy” will move 24-27,000 pure copies and 25-28,000 total consumption units, while Billy Currington’s “Summer Forever” is a safe bet for 21-24,000 in sales and 24-27,000 in total consumption units.
