According to Hits Daily Double, the duo’s “Blurryface” moved approximately 134,022 pure copies during the sales week ending May 24. While Billboard’s more authoritative sales data will differ slightly, it will not change the fundamental conclusion: “Blurryface” was the week’s best-selling album.<\/p>\n
As a result, “Blurryface” will claim the top spot on the Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n
The inclusion of Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) lifts the album’s first week consumption total to ~139,022 units. That will earn “Blurryface” the #1 spot on the revamped, consumption-oriented Billboard 200 chart.<\/p>\n
