Based on the first wave of weekly sales data, Mariah Carey’s “#1 to Infinity” is expected to move 14-16,000 complete copies in its first week of release.<\/p>\n
Hits Daily Double reports the estimate. It adds that the inclusion of Track Equivalent Album (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Album (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) will result in a first week consumption total of 16-18,000 units.<\/p>\n
In addition to a host of her number one hits, “#1 to Infinity” includes lead single “Infinity.”<\/p>\n
Released in 2009, previous themed compilation album “The Ballads” moved 29,000 traditional copies in its first week of release. Unlike “#1 to Infinity,” that album did not include new music.<\/p>\n
— The week’s best-selling new release (and album overall) will be twenty one pilots’ “Blurryface” (125-130,000 sales | 130-140,000 total units).<\/p>\n
