In a Tumblr post, the five members jointly revealed that the special rendition of “Worth It” would have been an a capella version.<\/p>\n
The group, unfortunately, did not get to rehearse the performance inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena until Sunday. Dissatisfied with how it sounded on such short notice, Fifth Harmony opted not to go through with the planned television performance.<\/p>\n
“Because we didn\u2019t get to do a rehearsal in the arena until the day of the show, and with the nature of the production of this song, we didn\u2019t feel happy with how it sounded,” reads the official statement. “You know we strive for perfection so after a conversation with our team, we all decided it was best to wait for a moment to showcase Worth It at its best. It was a united decision that we all made together.”<\/p>\n
Aware that the situation caused a stir within the “Harmonizer” fan community, Ally, Camila, Dinah, Normani and Lauren added, “We love you and your passion and hope you can understand that part of our journey is making the right decisions in tough moments.”<\/p>\n
