Tuesday morning, ABC announced that five new series–two comedies and three dramas–will debut as part of the fall 2015-16 schedule.<\/p>\n
In conjunction with that announcement, the network issued first looks at its new fall series.\u00a0 Ranging from the latest iteration of “The Muppets” to a vehicle for “Dr. Ken” Jeong to diverse dramas “Quantico,” “OIL” and “Of Kings and Prophets,” the series will appeal to a multitude of tastes.<\/p>\n
Ideally, that appeal will translate into strong ratings for the new ABC offerings.<\/p>\n

The Muppets<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe Muppets\u201d return to primetime with a contemporary, documentary-style show. For the first time ever, a series will explore the Muppets\u2019 personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, breakups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires. This is a more adult Muppet show, for \u201ckids\u201d of all ages.<\/p>\n Bill Prady (\u201cThe Big Bang Theory\u201d) and Bob Kushell (\u201cAnger Management\u201d) are co-writers and executive producers. Randall Einhorn and Bill Barretta are also executive producers. \u201cThe Muppets\u201d is produced by ABC Studios and The Muppets Studio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n Quantico<\/strong><\/p>\n A diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9\/11.<\/p>\n \u201cQuantico\u201d stars Priyanka Chopra as Alex, Dougray Scott as Liam, Jake McLaughlin as Ryan, Aunjanue Ellis as Miranda, Yasmine Al Massri as Nimah, Johanna Braddy as Shelby, Tate Ellington as Simon and Graham Rogers as Caleb. \u201cQuantico\u201d was written by Josh Safran. He is always trying to be a good doctor as well as a good husband and dad to his two kids. However, these good intentions have a way of driving everyone crazy at work and at home.
