The pop radio airplay throne shifts from one “50 Shades of Grey” single to another.<\/p>\n

After three weeks under the auspices of Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do,” Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart now recognizes The Weeknd’s “Earned It” as its leader.<\/p>\n

“Earned It” claims #1 on the strength of its ~17,060 tracking week spins. Goulding’s song, which slips to #2 this week, received ~16,301 within the May 3-9 tracking window.<\/p>\n

Pop is the third format at which “Earned It” has reached #1. It previously topped the urban airplay chart, and it continues to top rhythmic (~6,379 spins this week).<\/p>\n

As for pop, Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” soars seven places to a new peak of #3 this week. It received ~13,959 spins during the tracking week and again ranks as pop’s greatest weekly airplay gainer (+3,090).<\/p>\n
