Here is news of a different variety: the group’s “Night Changes” was one of twelve songs certified platinum under the RIAA Digital Singles program this past March.<\/p>\n
The platinum certification confirms that “Night Changes”–and the other eleven songs–boasts a unit total in excess of 1 million. A unit is equivalent to a paid digital download or 100 on-demand audio and\/or video streams.<\/p>\n
“Night Changes” is thus far the only platinum digital single from the group’s “FOUR.”<\/p>\n
Other songs that received Platinum certifications during the month of March: Alesso’s “Heroes (we could be – featuring Tove Lo),” Beyonce’s “7\/11,” Beyonce’s “XO,” Colbie Caillat’s “Try,” Godsmack’s “Voodoo,” I LOVE MAKONNEN’s “Tuesday (featuring Drake),” Jana Kramer’s “Why Ya Wana,” Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)”*, Taylor Swift’s “Style,” TI’s “No Mediocre (featuring Iggy Azalea)” and The Weeknd’s “Earned It.”<\/p>\n
