“Mr. Wonderful” achieved what Nielsen reports as 43,564 traditional first-week sales. Best among new releases, that represents the week’s third-strongest pure sales figure. Only the aforementioned “Butterfly” (~107,000) and the “Empire” soundtrack (~48,000) achieved higher sales figures during the recently concluded tracking week.<\/p>\n
With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale), “Mr. Wonderful” claimed a first week consumption total of just under 49,000 units. That earned the album a #7 debut on the revamped Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
“Kidz Bop 28,” which earned a first week unit count of 40,000, was the only other newcomer in the weekly top ten.
