The song this week earns its thirteenth straight week at the top of the mountain. That breaks the tie with Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and gives “Uptown Funk” the lengthiest reign since 2009, when The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” enjoyed fourteen straight weeks on top.<\/p>\n
Only ten singles have reigned for thirteen weeks or more.<\/p>\n
In addition to ruling the all-encompassing Hot 100, “Uptown Funk” also leads the three key subcharts. It tops Digital Songs with 165,000 sales, Streaming Songs with 16.2 million US streams and Radio Songs with 166 million impressions.<\/p>\n
Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” once again follow in their respective #2, #3 and #4 positions. The chart’s first change comes at #5, which welcomes The Weeknd’s “Earned It” into the mix.<\/p>\n
“Earned It,” which grabs #5 on the Hot 100, also improves its mark on radio songs. The recipient of 86 million weekly impressions, it claims #6 (+3) on that chart.<\/p>\n
It holds at #6 on Digital Songs (107,000) and Streaming Songs (8.9 million).<\/p>\n
