During their appearance on Friday’s “Good Morning America,” “Home” voice actors Rihanna, Jim Parsons and Steve Martin revealed that Cheryl Jackson won the morning show’s “Home” contest.<\/p>\n
That victory will bring an official red carpet “Home” premiere to Jackson’s hometown of Plano, Texas. The premiere takes place on March 17.<\/p>\n
ABC’s cameras will capture footage at the event, and “behind the scenes” perspective–guided by Rihanna–will air on the following day’s “GMA.”<\/p>\n
“Rihanna takes viewers behind the scenes of the \u201cHome\u201d premiere in Plano, Texas with ‘GMA\u2019s’ Home contest winner Cheryl Jackson,” says an ABC press note related to the March 18 “Good Morning America.”<\/p>\n
Responsible for Jackson’s “Home” contest victory was her success in launching Minnie’s Food Pantry. She started the charitable endeavor, which has provided more than 4 million meals to the community, using food from her own kitchen.<\/p>\n
“I just want to say that we are so amazed by the work that you’ve been doing in your community,” offered a congratulatory Rihanna. “We are inspired, and we’re so proud of you.” <\/p>\n
Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart will also appear on the March 18 “Good Morning America.”<\/p>\n
