“You’re So Beautiful” debuts at #71 on this week’s chart. It bests “Keep Your Money,” which peaked at #99, to become the highest-charting “Empire” soundtrack release to date.<\/p>\n
The impressive chart bow is attributable to the song’s strong digital sales performance. It debuts at #18 on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. For mainstream music reference, it falls between Fall Out Boy’s #17 “Centuries” and Natalie La Rose’s #19 “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” on that single sales chart.<\/p>\n
Presented as an updated version involving the Lucious’ (Terrence Howard) sons Jamal and Hakeem (played by Jussie Smollett and Yazz, respectively), the song was featured in last Wednesday’s episode–and again this week.
