Friday’s edition of “The Late Late Show” featured a collaboration between guest host John Mayer and musical guest Ed Sheeran. It was not the last time the two will share a stage.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, CBS confirmed that Mayer and Sheeran will perform as part of an all-star collaboration at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. They rehearsed for that eagerly anticipated performance Friday.<\/p>\n

Fellow all-star collaborator Herbie Hancock joined in on piano, while Adam Blackstone and Charlie Haynes handled bass and drum duties, respectively.<\/p>\n

Sheeran also took a moment to work through his collaboration with Jeff Lynne’s ELO.<\/p>\n

The performances air as part of Sunday’s 57th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast.<\/p>\n
