According to the latest edition of Mediabase’s rolling airplay chart, Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars),” not Nick Jonas’ “Jealous,” is the most-played song at pop radio. Ronson’s hit commanded 15,889 pop spins between January 15 and 21, while Jonas’ release only received 15,859.<\/p>\n
Insofar as “Funk” is rapidly gaining airplay while “Jealous” is beginning to lose radio support, it will only expand its lead as the week progresses.<\/p>\n
That means that when Mediabase issues its official airplay chart on Sunday, “Uptown Funk” will be formally crowned #1 at pop. The ascent to pop’s top spot comes as “Uptown Funk” enjoys a third week as the leader on Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100.<\/p>\n
