As a general rule, FXX series do not produce blockbuster ratings.<\/p>\n
But that does not mean all FXX series demonstrate a similar degree of struggle.<\/p>\n
Consider numbers for this Wednesday’s comedy block. Flagship comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” kicked off its new season with a 0.5 adults 18-49 and 786,000 viewers (even with last year’s premiere rating, up slightly in viewership), but new series “Man Seeking Woman” opened with a mere 0.2 rating and 326,000 viewers in the lead-out slot.<\/p>\n
One of the worst-rated and least-watched original offerings on cable Wednesday (it did manage to beat TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland,” TV Land’s “The Exes” and VH1’s “Hindsight” in adults 18-49 and the lattermost show in viewership), “Man Seeking Woman” also failed to demonstrate an impressive level of synergy with “It’s Always Sunny.”<\/p>\n
