— A new spy series from “Lost” creator JJ Abrams is generating significant buzz in the television community.<\/p>\n

A spec script for the new show, which Abrams penned with Josh Reims, is attracting attention from ABC, NBC and CBS, according to a story in Variety.<\/p>\n

Details on the project, which focuses on spies who are married, were largely undisclosed at press time.<\/p>\n

— While ratings for series on The CW are largely unimpressive this season, DVR returns for the premiere airings of “90210,” “Melrose Place,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural” all came back promising.<\/p>\n

When DVR viewing was included, each series experienced double-digit viewership growth; “90210” was the leader, growing 73% in women 18-34 and 46% in total viewers. The figures, respectively, for “Melrose Place” and “Diaries” were 54%\/43% and 64%\/40%. “Supernatural” added 35% in women 18-34 and 38% in viewers.<\/p>\n
