Update 2<\/strong>: As Wednesday came to a close, the key numbers performed on Tuesday’s “The Voice” finale continued to enjoy favorable positions on iTunes.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” was up to #1 on the all-genre sales chart, while Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” was up to #2. \u00a0Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” held the #4 position behind contestant Matt McAndrew’s “Wasted Love.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” had moved into the #6 slot, while Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” and Jessie J’s “Masterpiece” held the #8 and #9 positions, respectively. \u00a0Insofar as “Masterpiece” was not even in the top 100 when Jessie J took the stage Tuesday, its ascent into the top ten arguably represents the most impressive 24-hour climb.<\/em><\/p>\n

Jennifer Hudson’s “It’s Your World” remained beneath the top 200.<\/em><\/p>\n

Update: <\/strong>By mid-day Wednesday, Jessie J’s “Masterpiece” was still reaping the rewards of its showcase during Tuesday’s “The Voice” finale.<\/em><\/p>\n

The song, which was not in the top 100 prior to Tuesday’s show, currently holds the #13 position on the all-genre sales chart, and the only song ahead of it unrelated to the season seven “The Voice” finale is Taylor Swift’s #4 “Blank Space.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Finalist Matt McAndrew’s “Wasted Love” remains #1 on the chart, while Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” hold the #2 and #3 spots, respectively. McAndrew’s song was introduced to the world Monday, while “Uptown Funk” and “Thinking Out Loud” were performed on Tuesday’s results show.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hozier’s “Take Me to Church,” which was also featured Tuesday, is up to #5 on the chart. Winner Craig Wayne Boyd’s “My Baby’s Got a Smile On Her Face” follows at #6, while Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” is up to #7. Trainor performed the “All About That Bass” follow-up Tuesday.<\/em><\/p>\n

Four Team Adam songs follow. Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” which was performed as a collaboration with McAndrew, is up to #12 on the chart. The aforementioned “Masterpiece,” on which Jessie J shared the limelight with contestant Chris Jamison, is #13.<\/em><\/p>\n

The only number from Tuesday’s finale not listed within the Top 200 is Jennifer Hudson’s “It’s Your World.” Performed as a duet with Damien, the song is approximately positioned at #255.<\/em><\/p>\n

Targeted at music fans and powerfully connected to iTunes, “The Voice” represents an invaluable promotional platform for live performers.<\/p>\n

The celebrity guests who performed on Tuesday’s season seven finale are benefiting immensely from that scenario.<\/p>\n

One of the most notable beneficiaries is Jessie J, whose “Masterpiece” surged up the sales chart following her performance with finalist Chris Jamison. Not even in the Top 100 prior to Tuesday’s show, “Masterpiece” is currently #29 on the all-genre single sales chart.<\/p>\n

While it did not come out of nowhere, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” has thus far seen its strong iTunes position become stronger. Following Tuesday’s “The Voice” finale, the singer-songwriter’s ballad is back up to #3 on the chart. The only songs presently selling better are contestant Matt McAndrew’s original single “Wasted Love” (#1) and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” (#2). The latter was also performed on the Tuesday night “Voice” finale.<\/p>\n

Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” holds the #5 position following his appearance on the show, while Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” has leapfrogged some contestant recordings to reclaim a top ten position. Several hours have passed since Trainor took “The Voice” stage, and her single is up to #9 on iTunes.<\/p>\n

Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” which it performed as a duet with McAndrew, is back up to #13 on the iTunes chart.<\/p>\n
