Thanks to the 1,767 spins it received between November 29 and December 5, “Life” grabs the #5 spot on Mediabase’s rolling alternative airplay chart. It will need to hold off Cage the Elephant’s surging #6 “Cigarette Daydreams” to secure a top five spot on Mediabase’s official chart (which comes out Sunday evening), but nothing changes the fact that it presently stands as the fifth-most-played song.<\/p>\n
Only “Something from Nothing,” Hozier’s “Take Me to Church,” Milky Chance’s “Stolen Dance” and Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” received more alternative airplay over the trailing seven days.<\/p>\n
