{"id":31797,"date":"2014-12-05T00:55:41","date_gmt":"2014-12-05T04:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/headlineplanet.com\/home\/?p=31797"},"modified":"2014-12-05T00:55:41","modified_gmt":"2014-12-05T04:55:41","slug":"first-look-one-direction-celebrates-four-nbc-tv-special","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/headlineplanet.com\/home\/2014\/12\/05\/first-look-one-direction-celebrates-four-nbc-tv-special\/","title":{"rendered":"First Look: One Direction Celebrates &#8220;FOUR&#8221; in NBC TV Special"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past several weeks, a partnership between One Direction and NBCUniversal has generated ample exposure for the group&#8217;s &#8220;FOUR&#8221; album.<\/p>\n<p>Inclusive of a launch day &#8220;TODAY&#8221; show appearance and an upcoming return to the &#8220;Saturday Night Live&#8221; stage, the partnership reaches its climax with a primetime special on December 23.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One Direction: The TV Special,&#8221; which will air from 8-9PM ET on NBC, &#8220;will offer a rare inside look at the wildly popular band through a combination of documentary material, comical stunts and musical performances.&#8221;  Viewers will receive access to behind-the-scenes footage from the South American leg of the group&#8217;s &#8220;Where We Are Tour&#8221; and from the &#8220;FOUR&#8221; recording process.<\/p>\n<p>The special will also capture One Direction&#8217;s recent concert at the Universal Orlando Resort.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re really proud of our first TV Special. We had a great time filming the different parts both in Orlando and on the road in South America. We can\u2019t wait for our fans to see it,&#8221; said 1D in a statement about the special.<\/p>\n<p>In support of the upcoming special, NBC issued a number of first look photos.
