\n 2 – NOW 52 – 59K<\/em>
\n 3 – Bette Midler – It’s the Girls – 40K<\/em>
\n 4 – Jason Aldean – Old Boots, New Dirt – 35K<\/em>
\n 5 – Calvin Harris – Motion – 35K<\/em>
\n 6 – Florida Georgia Line – Anything Goes – 30K<\/em>
\n 7 – Barbra Streisand – Partners – 28K<\/em>
\n 8 – Sam Smith – In the Lonely Hour – 27K<\/em>
\n 9 – Brantley Gilbert – Just as I Am – 26K<\/em>
\n 10 – Sam Hunt – Montevallo – 25K<\/em><\/p>\n

Last week, Taylor Swift’s “1989” debuted atop the Billboard 200 thanks to the year’s strongest weekly sales total.<\/p>\n

This week, the album retains its #1 position thanks to the year’s second-strongest total.<\/p>\n

According to Hits Daily Double, Swift’s “1989” moved approximately 402,895 copies in its second week of release. Assuming Billboard’s authoritative tally does not notably differ, the count will best any 2014 total but the 1.287 million moved by “1989” in its inaugural frame.<\/p>\n

Prior to the Swift album’s release, Coldplay’s “Ghost Stories” possessed the year’s largest opening week sales tally. This past May, it debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 383,000 first frame copies.<\/p>\n

Per Hits, “NOW 52” will comfortably repeat as the week’s #2 album courtesy a sales count of approximately 60,149.
