The coaches unanimously agreed that it was an immensely risky song selection, but if iTunes is any indication, it was a choice that definitely paid off.<\/p>\n

As of 3:43AM ET, Matt McAndrew’s “God Only Knows” is already up to #34 on the iTunes all-genre sales chart. Thus far the best-selling of Monday’s live playoffs performances, McAndrew’s cover of the Beach Boys classic seems destined to thrust him into the Top 12.<\/p>\n

Fellow Team Adam member Damien claims the next-highest-charting song. His version of Sam Smith’s current hit “I’m Not the Only One” is up to #50 on the single sales chart.<\/p>\n

NBC’s “Voting Help” and “Voting Rules” issue conflicting statements regarding the availability of an iTunes multiplier bonus this week (the former says it is not available, the latter says it is), but the belief is that it will not come into play even if any songs enter the Top 10. iTunes purchases definitely do count as votes, however.<\/p>\n

Three Team Blake performances occupy the next-best spots on the iTunes chart. Reagan James’ “Try” is situated at #64, while Jessie Pitts’ “Holding Out for a Hero” owns the #68 slot. Craig Wayne Boyd’s “Some Kind of Wonderful,” which his coach called the performance of the night, is at #70.<\/p>\n

Team Adam member Taylor Phelan follows with “Cool Kids” (#89), while seasoned Team Blake performer James David Carter is at #113 with “Two of a Kind Workin’ on a Full House.” Team Adam’s Mia Pfirrman and Chris Jamison follow at #123 and #159 with “Young and Beautiful” and “Don’t,” respectively.<\/p>\n
