New release “Nightcrawler” earned $10.909 million to charge ahead of “Ouija,” which won last week’s race. It added $10.900 million to its total this weekend.<\/p>\n
Because the margin of victory is so minuscule, it is possible the pecking order could change in Monday’s final report.<\/p>\n
Regardless of what happens at the top of the order, former “Fury” will hold at #3 this week. It earned $9.100 million.<\/p>\n
“Gone Girl” and “The Book of Life” then complete the top five with $8.8 million and $8.3 million.<\/p>\n
