NBC officially decided to pass on back nine orders for the two comedies, thus assuring none will live beyond its initial thirteen episode order. All such episodes will, however, air as planned.<\/p>\n
Thursday, which represented the first opportunity for NBC’s comedies to air without competition from CBS’ weekly NFL broadcast, likely served as a last chance for “Bad Judge” and “A to Z.”<\/p>\n
Airing against CBS’ modestly rated “Two and a Half Men” and “The McCarthys” rather than its blockbuster Thursday Night Football coverage, the two shows delivered their worst marks yet.<\/p>\n
