After rising to #50 on Saturday’s rolling chart, Bea Miller’s “Young Blood,” meanwhile, lifts to #48 on Sunday’s rolling chart.<\/em><\/p>\n

The weekly radio adds board is not always the best gauge of a song’s appeal.<\/p>\n

Consider Hozier’s “Take Me to Church.” Presented modestly by the mere ten adds it received in conjunction with its official pop impact this week, the song is nonetheless making serious waves at the pop format.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a combination of early pickups (that would not have been reflected in the impact week adds count) and hefty airplay from several stations that are supporting the song, “Church” is on the cusp of entering pop radio’s Top 40.<\/p>\n

The recipient of 953 pop spins during the October 11-17 tracking period, the song appears at #42 on Mediabase’s rolling airplay chart. If it maintains its current rate of growth, it should leapfrog Ella Henderson’s #41 “Ghost” and Katy Perry’s free-falling #40 “This is How We Do” on Sunday’s edition of the chart.<\/p>\n

Currently #4 at alternative, the crossover effort is up to #30 at the hot adult contemporary format.<\/p>\n

— While not quite on the verge of top 40 entry, Bea Miller’s “Young Blood” is nonetheless beginning to make noise at the format. The former “X Factor” contestant’s debut single appears at #50 on Mediabase’s rolling pop radio airplay chart.
