Updated 2: <\/strong>Saddled with a downward adjustment, Thursday’s edition of “Reign” scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating with 1.27 million viewers in the final live+same day ratings report.<\/p>\n

While the demo rating matches that drawn by the season’s previous two episodes, the viewership mark represents an improvement over both.<\/p>\n

“The Vampire Diaries,” on the other hand, enjoyed week-over-week gains in both territories.\u00a0 It delivered a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 1.83 million viewers this week.<\/p>\n

Update: <\/strong>Portrayed unfairly in the overnight household ratings, The CW’s “Reign” and “The Vampire Diaries” both enjoyed improvements this week.<\/em><\/p>\n

9PM sophomore drama “Reign” delivered a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.36 million viewers.\u00a0 The figures topped the corresponding 0.4 rating and 1.09 million viewers drawn by the prior week’s installment.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The Vampire Diaries” led into “Reign” with a 0.9 rating and 1.86 million viewers.\u00a0 Last week’s episode drew a 0.8 in the demo with 1.67 million total audience members.<\/em><\/p>\n

For the third time in as many season two attempts, The CW’s “Reign” delivered a weak overnight household rating.<\/p>\n

“Coronation,” Thursday’s edition of the drama, drew a 0.9 overnight household rating. Even with that drawn by the October 2 season premiere, the number trails last week’s overnight household mark by 10%.<\/p>\n

That 1.0 translated into a 0.4 adults 18-49 with 1.09 million viewers.<\/p>\n

Earlier Thursday, The CW aired its one-time flagship “The Vampire Diaries.” Episode three of that show’s sixth season matched the previous week’s 1.5 overnight household rating.<\/p>\n

The 1.5 drawn on October translated into a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 1.67 million viewers.<\/p>\n
