Update: <\/strong>When it comes to ABC’s Thursday dramas,\u00a0<\/strong>he level of stability demonstrated in the overnight household ratings was not mirrored in the adults 18-49 numbers.<\/em><\/p>\n

Episode two of 10PM entry “How to get Away with Murder” posted a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating, which marked a decline of 15% from last Thursday’s series premiere.<\/em><\/p>\n

The episode attracted a viewership average of 12.15million, which was also 15% below last week’s mark.<\/em><\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, ABC offered “Grey’s Anatomy” (down to a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating with 9.44 million viewers) and “Scandal” (3.4 rating with 10.70 million viewers).<\/em><\/p>\n

Not completely immune from the week two drop that tends to affect new dramas, ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” nonetheless held up well considering the extent to which last week’s bow was promoted.<\/p>\n

After posting a monstrous 9.7 overnight household rating last week, the ABC drama delivered an 8.9 this Thursday. The strongest household rating for any program offered on television last night, the number signposts another dominant showing in the total viewership race.<\/p>\n

The show’s total viewership average and adults 18-49 rating will be made available by noon.<\/p>\n
