With a gross of more than that earned by the number two and number three films combined, “The Maze Runner” raced to an easy box office victory.<\/p>\n
The film earned $32.5 million in its first weekend of release. Fellow new releases “A Walk Among the Tombstones” and “This is Where I Leave You,” the weekend’s two other big debuts, followed with $13.1 million and $11.9 million, respectively.<\/p>\n
“No Good Deed,” which won last week’s box office battle, slipped to fourth with $10.2 million. “Dolphin Tale 2” grabbed fifth place with $9.0 million.<\/p>\n
