Thursday morning, TMZ reported that Vivid Entertainment was looking to strike a multi-million dollar deal to distribute a sex tape that allegedly features pop-rap superstar Iggy Azalea.<\/p>\n
In the same report, TMZ said that Azalea’s camp denied she was the individual featured on the recording.<\/p>\n
“Iggy’s camp says [Vivid boss Steve] Hirsch’s eyes are playing tricks on him. They tell us the I-G-G-Y is not the chick on vid doing the dirty … and they’re ready to sue over the alleged footage,” wrote TMZ.<\/p>\n
Azalea posted an additional denial on her Twitter account Thursday.<\/p>\n
“Obviously I’ve seen the news feed today and i just want to say\u2026I dont have a sex tape,” wrote Azalea.<\/p>\n
Not content to simply deny her involvement in the recording, Azalea also ripped those who attempt to profit from the unauthorized distribution of others’ intimate material.<\/p>\n
“Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else’s intimate moments against their will is a sex offender,” declared Azalea. “It honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women.<\/p>\n
“I really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights,” added the musician.<\/p>\n
