It missed the Top 20 on this week’s published Mediabase airplay chart and is unlikely to remain there for next Sunday’s official update.<\/p>\n
But for the time being, Rita Ora’s “I Will Never Let You Down” ranks as one of pop radio’s Top 20 songs.<\/p>\n
According to Mediabase, “I Will Never” received 3,508 spins between August 11 and August 17. Enough to give it a three spin edge over Echosmith’s “Cool Kids,” the count earned the song a #20 ranking on Monday’s rolling pop radio airplay chart.<\/p>\n
The song earned 15.94 million audience impressions during that August 11-17 window.<\/p>\n
Insofar as “Cool Kids” is gaining airplay at a much more rapid pace, it will likely overtake the Ora song on tomorrow’s rolling chart. That will send “I Will Never” back to #21, and with songs like Ed Sheeran’s #22 “Don’t” and Jeremih’s #24 “Don’t Tell ‘Em (featuring YG)” all in the hunt, it will doubtfully have an opportunity to re-enter the Top 20.<\/p>\n
Celebration will still, however, be in order for Ora.
