Ariana Grande is involved with yet another strong digital sales performer.<\/p>\n
According to Billboard, her “Bang Bang” collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj was the week’s best-selling digital song with 230,000 first week sales.<\/p>\n
Enough for a convincing #1 debut on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart, the impressive total also ranks as 2014’s second largest first week download count. Only Ariana Grande’s “Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea),” which moved a strong 438,000 in its inaugural week, got off to a stronger start.<\/p>\n
After entering the Top 10 last week, Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” rockets to #2 on this week’s edition of Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. It moved 169,000 last week.<\/p>\n
Currently #1 on iTunes, it is already enjoying another strong sales week.<\/p>\n
Maroon 5’s “Maps” surged to #3 on Digital Songs with 139,000 sales. Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and MAGIC!’s “Rude” took the final two positions of the Top 5 with 138,000 and 134,000.<\/p>\n
Jason Aldean’s “Burnin’ it Down” followed with 115,000 in week two, while Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy (featuring Charli XCX)” was the week’s seventh-best-seller with 107,000 copies.<\/p>\n
Azalea also appears on #8 song “Black Widow,” which makes its first top ten digital appearance with 100,000 paid downloads.
