For fans of Nicki Minaj’s music, the pop-rap superstar’s Instagram brought some bad news Sunday. The release of her hotly anticipated new song “Anaconda” has been delayed by a week.<\/p>\n

For fans of Nicki Minaj’s figure, the Instagram post contained a welcome consolation: a “front shot” in the same, revealing two-piece that facilitated last week’s buzzworthy picture of Nicki Minaj’s butt<\/a>. That photo is below.<\/p>\n

“My darlingz, I’ve pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8\/4,” wrote Minaj in the caption for the picture. “I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu”<\/p>\n

The song was originally slated for a July 28 release.<\/p>\n

This coming week will not, however, progress without new Nicki Minaj music. She joins Jessie J and Ariana Grande on the “Bang Bang” collaboration, which will be shipped to iTunes and radio at 12AM on Tuesday, July 29.<\/p>\n

Whether the release of that song is related to the “Anaconda” delay–and Minaj’s comment–remains to be seen.<\/p>\n
