Both Billboard and Mediabase release weekly country airplay charts. By this weekend, Joe Nichols’ “Yeah” will have reached #1 on both of them.<\/p>\n
The song, which enjoys a second week atop Billboard’s airplay chart, is now in possession of a convincing lead on Mediabase’s country chart.<\/p>\n
Over the seven days ending July 24, it scored 7,789 spins to rank as the format’s most-played song. Billy Currington’s “We are Tonight,” which holds second place on the chart, only scored 6,946.<\/p>\n
Mediabase releases its official, published report based on Sunday-through-Saturday airplay. While the Currington song might close some of the gap between over the next two days, it will not gain enough ground to overtake the #1 position.<\/p>\n
“Yeah” scored 59.26 million audience impressions during the aforementioned seven day period.<\/p>\n

— While it has slowed considerably since its monster first day, Jason Aldean’s “Burnin’ it Down” is still on the upward move. It hits #31 on the latest chart.<\/p>\n
