According to Billboard, the singer-songwriter’s album debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart with first week sales of 52,000. Both the chart ranking and sales count are the best of Sia’s career.<\/p>\n
The total, nonetheless, represents the worst for a weekly number one since Zac Brown’s “Uncaged” led with 48,000 the week of August 11, 2012.<\/p>\n
Benefiting from a variety of e-tail discounts, the “Frozen” soundtrack enjoyed a boosted weekly total of 46,000. Thanks to that tally, which marks a 23% weekly increase, “Frozen” improves to #2 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
Sam Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour” follows at #3 with 42,000, while Ed Sheeran’s “x” (35,000) and Trey Songz’ “Trigga” (34,000) complete the top five.<\/p>\n
